Christian Education  & Small Groups

We believe that our journey of faith is a life-long process of growth in our understanding of the way God is at work in our lives and world. 

Therefore, we provide opportunities to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

On Sunday Mornings we have an Adult Christian Education class from 9:30 am until 10:20 in Tucker Hall.  

During the 11 am Sunday Church Service, right after the Children’s Sermon, from September through May, we have Children’s Sunday school for the following age groups:

Preschool & First  

Second – Sixth Grades

The Youth meet twice a month after church services.

 Throughout the year, we offer a variety of weekly small group opportunities

For adults to gather to learn, discuss, and share. 

Ministries Outside the Church

We believe God’s love is best expressed when people

take practical action to share the good news with others by their support and service.

Our Country & World

We support mission programs and ministries in our country and world. Missionaries receive our support along with the United Methodist Committee on Relief that provides local and international disaster relief.

We support Heifer Project that helps people help themselves.  We support the Gideon’s and their bible distribution ministry. Our labor, as well as dollars, has supported Habitat for Humanity both locally and  internationally.

Our  Local  Community

We support and serve outreach projects in our local community. The Christian Help Center in Vallejo and the Benicia Action Council, both of which address the needs of the homeless and hungry, receive our volunteer and monetary support. We support the Salvation Army food closet through donations of food and monetary contributions.

We support the California Veterans’ Home in Yountville through the “adopting a vet” program and through the donation of personalized Christmas gifts. We donate new children’s clothes to the Shriner’s Hospital in Sacramento and to the David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield.
